Tremendous Power in the Name of Jesus
✨ Sunday Livestream Discussion | The Power in the Name of Jesus ✨
This Sunday, Pastor Blake walked us through the powerful story of the lame man at the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3–4) and reminded us that there is tremendous power in the name of Jesus Christ. Let’s continue the conversation together. Take a moment to reflect and jump into the discussion below ⬇️

What does it mean to you for something to happen in Jesus’ name, and how is that different from simply asking God for something?
3️⃣ The religious leaders were deeply troubled and commanded Peter and John not to speak in Jesus’ name.
Why do you think the name of Jesus provoked such a strong reaction then? Do you see any parallels in today’s world when Jesus is mentioned?

🕊️ Silent Reflection:
Take a quiet moment to reflect on this passage:
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
— Philippians 2:9–11
What does it mean for Jesus’ name to be above every name in your life and circumstances right now?
7️⃣ Pastor Blake encouraged us to:
Pray in the name of Jesus
Resist the devil in the name of Jesus
Speak the name of Jesus over our lives, marriages, and children
