The Unseen World
💬 Sunday Discussion Questions — “The Unseen World” (Ephesians 6:10–18)
What a powerful message from Pastor this morning as we were reminded that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against the unseen spiritual forces around us. As you reflect on the sermon this week, here are a few discussion questions to help you dig deeper — whether in your small group, with your family, or in your personal time with the Lord:
🔹 Icebreaker:
The pastor mentioned watching wrestling as a kid before realizing it was all staged. What’s something you once believed was real or spontaneous, only to later learn it was actually planned?
🔹 The Unseen Battle:
Where have you seen evidence of spiritual warfare—in the world or in your own life?
🔹 Areas of Attack:
Satan attacks us in our foundations, emotions, morals, personal faith, and thoughts. Which area feels most vulnerable to you right now, and why?
🔹 Giving the Devil a Foothold:
Christians cannot be possessed, but we can give the enemy space in our lives. What does “giving place to the devil” look like in daily life? What steps help you shut those doors?
🔹 Silent Reflection:
Take a moment this week to meditate on Ephesians 6:10–18 and consider each piece of the armor of God.
🔹 The Sword of the Spirit:
How consistently are you engaging with Scripture? How has God’s Word helped you recognize and push back against the devil’s lies?
🔹 Prayer as Warfare:
We fight our battles from our knees. What does it look like for you to put on the armor of God before your day begins? What is one practical step you can take this week to grow your prayer life?
