Who we are
First Baptist Church is a multi-generational church seeking to honor Jesus Christ and His Word! The church isn’t a building--it’s people. And we think you’ll find First Baptist Church is a pretty friendly bunch! That means “there is a place for you at FBC”. We have ministries specifically designed for preschool, children, youth, adults, and senior adults. The cornerstone of our ministry is deeply rooted in five values: Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship and Ministry.
We want to help you get to know God better and enable you to become who He’s created you to be. No matter where you are in life, we’ll help you figure out the next steps in your journey with Him. We want to see you succeed, but feel safe enough to fail. We want you to learn how to live common sense Christianity, without getting caught up in religious non-sense.
We believe that strong families start with a solid foundation. We partner with parents to help raise up the next generation to have a strong relationship with Jesus. We have opportunities during our Sunday morning services and mid-week services for children and teens and adults to create relationships with Jesus and each other.
What we believe

Our Mission
Our mission is summarized in Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
We are committed to doing whatever it takes to March for Disciples, Make Disciples, and Mature Disciples.

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.
