At FBC Purvis, we offer many opportunities for our senior adults to take part in ministry—and to be ministered to as well. From meaningful fellowship and service opportunities to exciting trips and special gatherings, there’s always a place to connect and grow.
We believe our senior adults are a vital and treasured part of our church family. Their wisdom, faith, and lifelong walk with God are a blessing to our entire congregation, and we are grateful for the example they set for generations to come.

Sounds of Grace
Our senior adult choir, Sounds of Grace, shares the joy of music through song. This group not only leads in worship on special occasions but also brings encouragement to others through their ministry of praise.
Sunday School Outreach
Our Sunday School classes faithfully visit and minister to those who are unable to get out of their homes. It’s a meaningful way to stay connected and share Christ’s love with those who may feel isolated.
Senior Adult Game Nights
Join us on the third Tuesday of each month for a time of laughter, fellowship, and friendly competition! Game nights are a fun way to build friendships and enjoy an evening together in a relaxed setting.
Monthly Luncheons
We gather on the fourth Thursday of every month for a delicious meal and uplifting fellowship. Each luncheon includes good food, great company, and often a special program or devotional message.
Annual Senior Adult Trip
Each year, our senior adults enjoy an exciting trip together to a new destination! These trips offer a wonderful opportunity for adventure, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement.
